Round 28 of the Trippy Travel Photo game is different this time. I usually ask you what’s in the photo and where I took it. This time, I’m asking what it is AND whether it’s real or if it’s a painting.
You’ll need to explain why you think what you think–and you’ll get bonus points if you can provide details re: the particular object.
To play, just follow the steps below.
The prize? A mention and a link to your site and a place among the two current champions in the ChickyBus Hall of Fame.
1. Look at the Photo/Study the Details
2. Guess whether it’s real or a painting.
Do they look real? If so, why? If not, why not?
Is this a painting? If so, explain why you think so. If not, tell me why.
Bonus points: And if you’re really at the top of your game–he, he–please tell me exactly what you’re looking and and where was I traveling when I saw them. If you can do that, well….wow…you get bonus points! (However, it’s not necessary to do this to win. That, I know, is a very difficult task.)
3. Check Back Later!
–Post your guesses here in the Comments Section (tweets and FB comments don’t count–sorry)
–Keep checking and guessing as the guessing gets good…
–See who won…maybe it will be you!
The Prize?
A mention of your name and a link to your site from within this post.
And the Winner Is…

It kind of looks like an art projects using real pressed leaves, so I think it’s both art and real.

Hi, Alouise. I love what you’ve said here…can’t comment about it yet, however. I want to wait to see the other responses. Thanks for playing!!
Real! The edges of the leaves make me think they’re real.

Howdy, Maria! Very interesting what you’ve said. What specifically about the edges?
Hi, Maria. I think I’m going to go ahead and declare you the winner of this round (even though Robert came close). You guessed it first. So, congratulations on winning the Trippy Travel Photo game. Yes, the leaves were real!
And I shot the photo in Sacramento, California, btw.
Real. The top right hand green leaf is definitely real, and the top left hand corner looks like an out-of-focus background of a photo. Therefore = a photo of a real plant.
Oh, and my wife has just reminded me that we have had one of these growing here at home. She calls it a white ivy.

The white leaves are real – sometimes nature looks surreal
