Bio

Writing has always been a part of my life. Not only did I study it in college at various points, but I have a lot of experience actually doing it and being paid for it.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a weekly newspaper reporter and later at a large company, where I was an advertising proofreader/editor and copywriter. My writing was published in Seventeen Magazine many years ago and a handful of other publications.

Right now, I’m and ESL professor at a 2-year college in NJ. I teach speaking/pronunciation, grammar, reading and….yes, writing! I recently published a travel memoir, an awesome book that takes you on one very long and incredible journey….with me! Check it out here.

Want to guest post for me?

Let’s talk! I’m open to many possibilities as long as what you’d like to write supports the concept of Chicky Bus and traveling “off the beaten path and into the moment.” I love travel tales, whether light-hearted, silly or deep, and tips are always welcome–especially if they’re about a place I’ve never been to. Writing about travel as a vehicle for personal growth is also a possibility. You can contact me here.

Hire Me

As you can see, I love writing and have done it professionally off and on over the years. I take it quite seriously and pride myself on the fact that I can write in a wide variety of styles and on a multitude of subjects. Not only can I tell a story, but I can educate readers and even help market/sell to them. While I love writing for the Internet, I can certainly write for print publications and would love to do so if given the opportunity.

If you’re interested in learning more, please send me an e-mail via my Contact page and let me know what you’re looking for. We can then discuss possible timing, logistics and rates.
