Color of a pomegranate, but they are usually round and have a stem on the end. Where did you see it? The grocery store before you put it in your purse and walked out. Then dropped it on your parents yard & put that leaf next to it.

Kevin–Very funny! True re: the color, etc, but no–it’s not local. Definitely not something one finds in NJ!
hmmm… A Malus Pink Glow (Type of Crab Apple)

You’re warm–with the ‘apple’ guess. Very warm. But where? And what kind?
A Velvet Pink Banana Fruit? I’m getting a headache, got anymore tree pics? I’m good at those.

Interesting guess, Kevin–but no! LOL Trees, huh? Yeah, you dig the trippy stuff!
Is that a very hungry caterpillar I see coming out of something that looks like an exotic guava (will guess on the fruit)?
Probably somewhere in Central America…
Hi, Anuj. Great guess–I love it! I was hoping someone might ‘see’ an insect somewhere in there–one that’s not actually there! You definitely get points for the “exotic guava” guess. Excellent. It is exotic, but not a guava.
Re: where…..you’re sort of warm, but not–it’s not in CA.
Thanks for playing and stay tuned. I have a feeling the guessing is going to get good!
I am going to guess that’s a Pitaya, and you saw it in…Panama.

Lots of “P”s in your guess, Ryan–and it’s a great one. But no–not a pitaya and not in Panama. You’re very much on the right track, however, and so, I think you should keep playing! he, he, he…
It’s a fish and you were traveling in the Gulf of Mexico.
Hi, Ron. Interesting guess…very original. But no, that’s not it.
Ummm, how about a Rose Apple in Trinidad Tobago (or maybe Malaysia)?
Guess what, Helene? I’m declaring you the winner. It’s in that family, actually, and it’s from the Dominican Republic. Your guess is so close–the actual fruit and the location–you deserve to win. Congrats! PS: What’s your web address? I’d like to mention you link to your site…
Hi there wow! I’m so excited to be so close and be declared winner – yay! Unfortunately I don’t have a website yet, I’m trying to figure out how to do it and how to start it off – I’m a serious technophobe but have to get it done with lengthy travel coming up soon.
Ciao for now
Helene
Well, I am tempted to say it is a mango, due to the appearance of the skin, however that red stem is not a mango stem. So I will offer a tentative “It’s a red tropical berry”
Thanks, Robert, but not a berry…
It looks like an apple but the shape really matters. I cant’ really guess it so because I have not seen anything like that before.
If you tilt your head to the right, it looks a little bit like a very pink fat man with green hair swinging his arm.

Hi, Ava. That is so funny! I’m glad I chose the photo I chose because it does make it look like something different. When I reveal what it really is–probably in a couple of hours–I will post another photo that shows it/them from another and better angle. Thanks!
This looks like a game I did last year called “Where in the world am I?” However, I always put places. I have no freaking idea what this is!
An overgrown red potato that seriously needs to work out his arms?

Hey, Jeremy. That is a hilarious guess–I love it!!! The arms are awfully scrawny…definitely! The answer will be posted shortly. Some came very close in their guess and so, I’m going to declare them the winner. Thanks for playing!
